Non-Medical & Non-Emergency Protocol

College Kids Helper provides practical assistance, routine domestic help, and friendly check-in visits. We do not provide medical diagnosis, clinical treatment, prescription administration, psychological therapy, emergency transportation, or security services. In any emergency situation, dial 911 immediately.

1. Laundry Pickup, Wash, Fold & Return

  • Scope: Pickup of student laundry from dorm lobby or apartment front door, wash in professional machines using quality hypoallergenic detergent, dry, fold crisply, pack in clean protective packaging, and return directly to the student.
  • Garment Care: Standard machine-washable cottons, linens, towels, and clothing. Dry-cleaning-only items or delicate silk/leather requiring specialty solvent restoration must be separated and disclosed in advance.

2. Room Resets & Apartment Tidying

  • Scope: Light surface dusting and wiping (desks, nightstands, dressers), making the bed with clean linens provided by the student, vacuuming/sweeping floors, and collecting/disposing of standard household trash and recycling.
  • Excluded: Hazardous bio-waste, extreme mold remediation, extensive pest infestation cleanup, or heavy biohazard sanitization.

3. Standard TV Mounting & Handyman Help

Strict Electrical & Structural Disclaimer:

Standard TV Mounting is strictly limited to securing standard mounting brackets to wood studs behind standard drywall for TVs up to 65 inches.

We do NOT perform: In-wall electrical wiring, outlet relocation, high-voltage electrical work, structural cutting, masonry anchoring into concrete/brick without pre-authorization, or any modifications requiring city permits.

4. Student Wellness Check-In Visits

  • Scope: An in-person, friendly visit by Sarina Williams to check on the student’s physical well-being, deliver requested comfort items, soup, or care items, and provide a prompt update and photo to the parent.
  • Student Autonomy: Visits are conducted with the student’s knowledge and consent. If a student declines a visit or refuses to answer, the parent will be notified immediately.
  • Non-Clinical Nature: Check-ins are purely social, supportive, and communicative. They do not substitute for professional medical or mental health care.

5. Errand, Grocery & Meal Deliveries

  • Transparent Pricing: The booking fee covers courier labor and vehicle dispatch. All items purchased (groceries, restaurant meals, pharmacy over-the-counter essentials) are billed at exact store receipt cost with zero markup.
